For the Ways Of Old must
be shown from generation to the next.
If desire in thy heart,
one should wish these “Ways” to see…
Pray by moonlight to thy
Goddess and the teacher will find thee.
By the student a vow be

The teacher’s power may
not be forsaken.
As a student of the “Ways
Of Old”…
Not a secret to an ill
willed be told!
Magick by moonlight, with
good in thy heart…
A rule of the “Old”
before thee may start!
Crystals shall aid &
cards do tell…
By the rune of “Old”,
passed or future see well!
Cast thy circle of light
around…
Three times shall keep
thee safe & sound!
Magick & healing
should be pure…
For what is sent out,
three times will return!
So heed the wisdom of an
Elder’s word…
One must only use the
power for good!
As the student continues
to grow…
A star of study by the
Elder is bestowed.
Five points in the apple
that thine eyes may see…
Show more than just it’s
beauty.
It tells us a tale of
Earth, Air, Water, & Fire…
The strength to survive
& thy heart’s desire.
The symbol shall show one
where to start…
To see inside the Elder’s
heart!
Lady resourceful, be thy

Green are your hills and
your mountain sides.
One should replace what
is taken times two…
And place offering,
beneath your eyes of blue.
God of all, power of
thunder…
Your skills teach us life
without hunger!

Watching over as you have

Seeing the cycles turn

A moon in her cycles from
fullest to crest.
Celebrate new life and
plant in the Spring…
The cycle moves on to

Celebrate the Solstice,
night and day shall meet.
The cycle still turns

Share with thy neighbor,
& harvest the rest.
As the light continues to

The promise of life falls

Darkening, thou shall reap what thou has sewn.
The circle of life shall
continue to spin…
Never ending the next
cycle begins.
Feel the cool wind touch

Remember loved ones who
have left this place.

Old”…
Remember the knowledge
the Elders have told!
Reflect upon the time
that has passed…
As the season moves on
never reaching the last.
As this cycle shall
proceed to turn…
May thy home & hearth
ever so brightly burn.
The Day of most darkness
has found its way…
The time now is to
celebrate the coming of day.
We show our love with
gifts of life…
Blessed may he be, the
Child of Light!
The birth of the lord,
the promise of day…
The darkness will begin
to fade away.
The “Mother” must now lay
herself to rest…
To prepare for the season
that turns to her next!
Her Love brings us hope
& life as she lives on…
From season to season,
from dusk to dawn!
Through death and strife
these traditions survive…
For hundreds of years,
“The Old Ways” shall thrive.
So be it a vow of promise
one knows…
From student to elder one
must grow!
So teach from your heart
with honor & pride…

~Spell By Comb & Mirror~
Spell given to me by my teacher. Its author I do not know.
It is
wonderful to use and very empowering so if the author does so happen to reach
these
Pages please
come forth so I may thank you for a wonderful peace of magick.
At such a time as a woman feels that for pleasure, rest, or for magickal
need, she wishes to draw power to herself, she shall draw it to her by
combing/brushing her hair. If brush/comb & mirror of silver are available,
she should use them. It is important
for her implements to be closely linked to her. She shall dress in a manner
that is auspicious to the meaning of the spell & sit comfortably alone,
dimming the lights of her chamber. A
single candle fitted for her goal, along with sweet incense should be lit. For
the space of thirteen heartbeats she should sit and become quiet within
herself. With each stroke of the brush or comb say aloud or within…
“ O’ Lady of shimmering beauty, for whom the stars are shinning jewels,
& the Universe her creation & plaything, weaver of destines &
protectress of things wild & free. Make me now I ask, to be thy sister.
Make me one with thee & grant me thy far-flung power, grant to thy Witch
& sorceress, strength within & without, as eternal as the boundless
sea. The Winds, Waters, Fires, the hills themselves, lend willingly themselves
to me please give to me, who am of thy ancient craft. Knowledged of light,
Knowledged of dark, that I reflect thee better. Build magic within me, build
power within me. “
This last portion should be repeated as many times as you feel proper.
“ Power be drawn &
power come, & make me one with thee, Make me greater, make me better, grant
me strength and grant me power. O’ Goddess who is my friend and my sister. I
give you love & thanks, O’ beautiful one, May wisdom & strength remain
with me, growing ever finer. So mote it be!!!”
She shall continue brushing
until the power & energy has been sent forth.
~A Mirror spell To, Reverse a spell~
Before you say the chant
you must first dress a black candle with dragon’s blood or vetivert oil.
You should rub the oil
into the candle starting at the bottom moving up all the way to the top.
Hold and visualize the
negative going back to the one who sent the negative towards you.
Now light your candle
with and earthen source like a matchstick no lighters. Make sure the candles
reflection is in the mirror or it will not work. Then say 3 times…
“By Mirror and light I
send back to thee,
that which was sent to me,
times three.
By the mirror on the
wall…
It is sent back to the
sender,
Once and for all!!!
So mote it be!”
Now let the candle burn
completely out. The black candle represents the negative that surrounds you. The mirror is reflecting the candle
decreasing so the negative is returning to the person whom sent it.

~Spell To See your destiny ~
First you should make a cup of tea. Made
of a teaspoon of Chamomile, ¼ teaspoon of Cinnamon, & 3 Borage flower tops. You may use a coffee filter or a piece of cheesecloth
to bundle the mixture for steeping. You should use fresh herbs, but if not available
to you, then you may use herbs purchased from the store. Mix your herbs in an
earthen bowl or dish. Mix them while visualizing what you wish to know. Boil your water and then bundle the herbs and
begin steeping. Take tea to the altar. You will need a pale blue candle rubbed with
sandalwood or Almond oil. Rub oil into candle from both ends to the middle with
both hands. Again visualize while dressing the candle. Light your blue wish
candle. Light your Lord and Lady candles, Invoke them both and then kneel to
your altar and say…
“ Lord & Lady, here I
kneel on bended knee…
I ask of you to show to me…
The steps I’m to take into
my destiny.
The way to reach true
harmony, I wish to see.
What shall I become?
What is that I shall be?
This is what I ask of
thee!
This question I send by
candlelight.
This is what I wish to
see this night!
Be it by vision or be it
by dream…
By morning light this wish
I will have seen!
In the name of the Lord
& Lady,
With harm to none,
I send this out,
This spell is done!
So Mote It Be!!!”
Drink
the tea you prepared. Thank the Lord and
Lady and say goodbye to them both. Put
out their candles, but leave your candle to burn out on its own. By morning you should have seen what your
destiny is. When you first rise in the morning try very hard to remember what
you saw in your dream, or before falling to sleep. Write down what you do
remember before doing anything else.
You may need to take a tablet & pen to lay close to you before going
to sleep.

~ Spell for weight Loss ~
Things you will need are
a spool of thread, & a piece of parchment paper if you have it. If you have no parchment paper any paper
will do as long as it is blank. You will also need a fairly large piece of hematite
stone. You should sit by a body of water, pond, lake, or ocean when doing this
spell. Draw a picture of your body as you see yourself as best as you can. When
you are done fold up the picture and hold on to it, visualize what your body should
look like. You should see your body in good health and the size that you should
be. Sit and meditate on this image for a few moments. Now fasten the picture
with thread around the hematite. Tie it up real tight. Then take in hand and
visualize the pounds literally going into the stone, until you can feel the
stone is completely full.
Take into your hand and say…
“Stone of health, stone
of healing… absorb from this body the weight that is unneeded.
Bring to me health and
agility…
from this illness set my body free”
You will now with as much
strength as you have, throw the stone and picture into the water, know in your
heart that you have succeeded. Thank the lake for its aid and turn around and
never look back.
This spell should be done
during the new moon for best results!!! Good luck!!!
